ORANGE COLORED SKY - THE SHADOW OF SUMMER / ORANGE COLORED SKY, 1968

Another flop from the UNI roster; The Orange Colored Sky. 'The Shadow Of Summer' has some cool bits of organ and strings (mellotron?), and a thumping bass, but is otherwise on par with Frankie Valli singing 'Can't Take My Eyes Off You'.  'Orange Colored Sky' is an even lighter affair, but nonetheless pleasing to this ear.  Nice reflective harmony pop, I can feel the summer fading away already...
